The goal of resilience is to thrive!

Letter from RBC Board Chair
Thank you so much for pouring your support into Rosemary's Babies Co.
I would like to thank our board for their tireless efforts in ensuring the success and continuing to work towards achieving the mission and vision of the organization.

Daniel H Pink said, “Leadership is about empathy. It is about having the ability to relate and connect with people for the purpose of inspiring and empowering lives.” I live by the creed that what you do on a day to day basis should reflect and be proof of what you believe. Has anybody ever heard the term practice makes perfect? Not True. Practice makes improvement. The culture that I work in within Toyota uses the term “Kaizen” meaning continuous improvement. I will continue to Kaizen the things that I believe in. I will continue to prepare my mind and circle to achieve success because success is when Preparation meets Opportunity.
At Rosemary's Babies Co. we believe that consistency all the time is better than just greatness some of the time. So we surround our young parents with the community and ensure these families there is another way.
-
We ensure families that we will be there emotionally.
-
We ensure families that we will not let you fail.
-
We ensure families that we will wrap our arms around you and you will never be in this alone.
-
We ensure families that we love you, we care, and we will do this together.
-
We motivate parents not to quit and to work their hardest.
-
We advise parents to lean on a community that cares about their future. You will succeed and we will help you.
-
We tell them and walk with them until they succeed because their success is all of our success.

Here at a Rosemary’s Babies Co., we are saying this to you too, our donors, community leaders, neighbors, partners, and friends. We are all in this together. Unified we will thrive. United we will remain resilient because "the goal of resilience is to thrive."

Your investment for RBC to provide intervention, education, and prevention ensured that in 2019 two-hundred teen parents and their babies not only survived but are thriving. By taking good care of the money given to us, we can make sure that as much of it as possible goes toward programming and families, and ultimately toward fulfilling our shared vision of a nationwide support system of resources for teen parents.

Thank you,

Aswad Mack, PMP
Board Chair
